I'm obsessed with benders and Clarence White. I have a Hipshot B-Bender on my Tele but can see getting a Parsons/White bender installed in the future. I'd consider Fender's Parsons/Green bender but I've never seen one in a guitar store to try.

The Hipshot is an inexpensive way to try B-Bending. Here's Hipshot's website:

You can buy Hipshots cheaper on eBay. There's a video of one in use at this link:

Here's a forum you might enjoy visiting. Lots of good reading here:

For those who don't know what a B-Bender is, watch this:

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Brad Paisley uses a G-Bender.

You can also get a B and a G on the same guitar. Check out this video from Forrest Lee where he demos a double bender. He also shows the mechanisms on the back of the guitar near the end of the video.

I own a 06 american B-bender. I have played just standard guitar sense Jan. And after i bought this i can't go back. It's very simply to use, and if you play country it is very well needed. I would not trade this for nothing. And it's all i play. And i have a vintage strat, and would rather play this one. So yes you should get a B-bender. You won't regret it. It comes very handy playing steel licks. And when you hit them 7th 9th and 6th chords, it is amazing

George is right - those links are great and the Bender section of the TDPRI is the best all around source for everything Bender. I am strongly considering putting the G Bender on my Tele that is in the video I just posted. (The Doug Seven Burp Rag Cover)
