Any one know how much a Buck Owens Limited edition Tele would be worth, it's the red, white and blue metalic flake one. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Probably not too much. I don't think Fender really expected alot of sales on that guitar.

They used to sell on Ebay for about $800. Since the sad passing of Buck, the Ebay prices has escalated. I've seen buyers trying to get $1800 - $2200, with no sucess. Most are selling around the $1400 range.

I've seen one listed by Morgan Music for $1795. They have been trying to sell it at that price for quite a few months.

There was one recently at Dave's Guitar for $950. It went very quickly and I missed it by 20 minutes. I now wish I had purchased one prior to BO's passing. They are just GREAT looking guitars.

Someday, I hope.

These guitars are great lookers-but I had one once, and couldn't play it much for fear of putting a ding in it, so I sold it. If they were common, that would be a different story!

From what I've seen, the price guides (Vintage Guitar, Blue Book, etc.) suggest a considerably lower price than the asking prices that eBay and some dealers are asking. It looks like a case of demand vs. supply there-and a disconnect about market values, too! Go figure.
