Hello,

My name is Jonathan and, unfortunately, I have to write a 5 page paper for one of my classes about a commodity chain. A commodity chain is just simply the process by which a product is made and where those parts come from. I chose a standard american made fender telecaster. So, if anyone has any information about where Fender gets their wood and steel.

They use these following woods:
Alder - body
Maple - neck
Rosewood - fingerboard

And if anyone knows where they get the steel for the other parts like the bridge, frets, and other hardware that would be sick.

Thanks for any information.
-Jonathan
