I'm pretty sure I've answered this before, and again the only answer for me is maple!

A Tele might be my next guitar. My others have rosewood fretboards. Why maple on a Telecaster?

From my experiences, I get a 'snappier' crisp sound with maple that I don't get with rosewood.

I use both maple and rosewood fret-boards on telecasters. Each has its merits as do different fret gauges or neck shapes.

However I do prefer cats to dogs.

A Telecaster just isn't a Telecaster without a maple neck.
