I recently bought a set custom shop 69 pickups but because I used a humbucker for the bridge on my strat I have an extra bridge pickup. I also have a tele that needs a pickup change, I was wondering if I could use that 69 pickup for the bridge on the tele, and get a 60's telecaster tone from it rather than stratocaster.

The Classic Player Baja Telecaster uses one in the bridge I believe.

This is an interesting question. My question is about the adjustment screws. THe Tele Bridge PUP has 3 screws vs. the 2 for a Strat PUP.

And I think the Baja has the CS Broadcaster pup in it.

Keep us posted if you try this swap.

That 69 will be weak and tinny and will not mimic a 60's Tele pickup.
