Cool! Tell us about it - looking forward to the report.

Compare it to the Nashville (3 pup) Tele's if you have any experience with them.

Thanks!

That's a great price,I'm almost as eager to see it as you are to buy it.

A previous owner has installed a microswitch. Not sure what it does although there is tone differences. I'll pull the plate tommorow and see when I get those awful slippery 008-or 009's that are on there off and get some proper 50/11's on there right away. Took it to my jam session Thursday nights and it sounds like a Telecaster alright. I didnt get into anything other than the bridge PU for the three songs I played on it but I noticed I'll have to balance the pickup height/levels better for more or less equal volume between 5 switched positions. Its hot on bridge and weaker on lipstick tubes but only somewhat so. A screw driver and 5 minutes with my Fender amp should do it. Love the neck and the black on black. I'm only finding out these are hard to come by. I have no experience with a Nashville tele to compare. I do however also play a G&L Strat (American pickups tribute model) and a Epiphone Dot and so I really have a variety from twang to howl.

After heavier strings and pickup adjustments its like night and day. For the last 2 hours tonight the instruments onstage were American Strat, American P bass and my recent addition the Mexican Blackout tele. It sounds great.

She's a looker that's for sure and a bargain to boot.
