I have my tele plugged straight into a vox wah which is then plugged straight into a blues junior amp. However, when the pedal is on, but heel completely down, the town is extremely muffled and low. As you aplly the pedal the tone clears up and the wah kicks in, but the volume climbs drastically. Anyone know how to even this out so that the tone is some what clear no matter how much pedal is applied? I figure it is a problem with my settings on the amp or tele, and/or a bad pedal, but I am a beginner and have no idea. Any help is appreciated.....

Is the pedal on AC or battery?

Did you try other combinations of guitars amps or wahs?Try it out with another guitar in your amp, then your guitar in another amp. Then another guitar inanother amp with your wah,if the same happens in all cases you can point to the wah as being the problem.

Is the Wah new or used? I tend to think that it sounds as if the pot is bad or needs cleaning/readjusting. If that wah isn't new, somebody may have tried to tweak it.
