Hello, everyone,I'm a guitar beginer,I am want to buy my frist guitar.
So,I like The tears,Radiohead,AC/DC,Pink Floyd,David Bowie,The cure these band,I think i like fender's guitar's sound~
But I have a porblem,I need a vintage fender sound,But I don't know how to choose,Tele or Start?
My teacher said,Start have 3 pickup,can play more music style,but I think I like Tele's clean,power's sound.
I have three choose:
1. TL52-78US
BODY ASH
NECK MAPLE OVAL TYPE, 324 SCALE
FRETBOARD MAPLE ONE PIECE, 184R, 21F
NUT WIDTH 42mm
PICKUPS TL-VINTAGE (U.S.A.) X 2
CONTROLS & SWITCH 1VOL, 1TONE, 3WAY SW
BRIDGE 3SECTION T6 CHROME SADDLE
2.TL52-88TX
BODY ASH
NECK MAPLE OVAL TYPE, 324 SCALE
FRETBOARD MAPLE ONE PIECE, 184R, 21F
NUT WIDTH 42mm
PICKUPS TEXAS SPECIAL TELE (U.S.A.) X 2
CONTROLS & SWITCH 1VOL, 1TONE, 3WAY SW
BRIDGE 3SECTION T8 BRASS SADDLE
Which pickup better?I want to solo.
By the said,5+2'TL and 62'TL,which better?Somebody talk to me,62'TL's sound is more "modren".

Get one of these...

Crafted in Japan SPL Thinline

This is the most beautiful and versitile guitar I know. It has a 5 position switch, positions 2 and 4 emulate strat "out of phase" dual pickup swtiching. The best bit is that position 3 has the neck HB and the bridge Pup together (classic Tele swtiching) rather than the middle on it's own. The best of all worlds....

Exactly what the other guy said. Before i found my Tele i was set on the Hammer Archtop Quilt. When i finally heard the Hammer it in the store i was so disappointed so I tried everrrrrrrrrrrrry guitar within my price range in Sam Ash. I hsppened to pick up the Lite Ash tele and I fell in love. Moral of the story: You never know until you pick it up. Spend some time at the store and do your research. You have nothing to lose.

Hi, I highly recommend the CIJ Teles. I recently bought a "52
Reissue TL52-78. The finish, and playability is superb. In my opinion, for the money, you wont do better if your chasing a Tele.

Hello.Thank you your answer, but I live in China's little city(Do you know Guilin?HeHe)So I have't no change to try a "true" guitar.Your know,China have many many not true anything.
I only can buy a guitar on internet.Maybe Fender Japan's Tele 52 is not best.I think maybe Fender Japan's Mustang 65 is best in the world(No American mustang)I just a bigger, but I need a good guitar.
