I used to prefer another brand. But, after played a tele (though it's not mine), it's the fittest guitar for my style and music. Classic '72 Telecaster Deluxe is one that I choose, It's awesome (I haven't had one of this but I will)...! :)

I have owned many guitars, but my Baja Tele is the best "bang for the buck" guitar. I can simulate a deep jazzy Gibson humbucker sound and a thin penetrating Strat sound on the same guitar. But I find my pickup selector in the 3rd position for the neck pickup only; its that unique sound that gets me going, without effects, and reverb is on. I could rave about it, but I pretty much don't play the other guitars since getting this one.

seeing how you can get a squire tele for under a 100 bucks or a custom shop for as many 1000 as you want to spend i would say most of the guys on this website will agree thier all worth the money
