put a phone call into warmoth the other day wanting a tele neck with 24 frets, warmoth says "no can do" something about loosing my front pick up & because the guitar is a 3 hole attachment that the truss rod would be in the way WTF, am I the only one with this dream, can this be done or not.

Chromeface the photos look great, it looks like the 24 fret neck is original equipment from fender custom shop, am I right & if the neck was a add on from where? also you have single coil pups where as I have humbucker pups, would that be a problem.

This Tele is a bajo sexto baritone. Fender sells a specific set of strings for this guitar.

Using a 24-fret neck with any pickup configuration doesn't affect the tone.

I believe the Custom Shop also produced Bajo Sextos with humbucking pickups. Must ask Mike Eldred first if it's possible to order a baritone Tele with an HH config.
