Anyone else but me think it would be something incredible to see one made? Modeled after his personal Tele, I think it could be awesome.

luckily the tele he had can be pretty easily recreated, his music and style however were something of his own

Of course the style is what's gonna be difficult. The Tele is just something that seems so defining and intricate to his music. It seems like the guitar might hold a little something more. A Custom Shop Tribute, perhaps?

Is that a copy of his ax or just the same color as his, or is that his pick guard and bridge,

Another Tele, this one is very similar to Buckley's original:

Jeff's guitar is supposed to be a 1983 Standard model which has been customized with a mirror pickguard, though I'm not pretty sure it's a real 1983 Standard or a 1952 re-issue.

chromeface - that is %100 a replica some parted together, definitely not original, doesn't even have the correct bridge pickup.
Buckley's, or actually his friend Janine Nichol's, had the bridge pickup replaced with a Carvin S60TB rail pickup. The guitar itself was 1983 "top loader".
