You want my answer?

ANY FENDER.

I can make a Tele sound great through almost any amp. Now, given my druthers (does anybody use that word anymore?), I'd say the blackface Super Reverb is the best Tele amp, followed closely by various Twins. Yet some will say the '59 Bassman, which I can understand. The new biggest-version-yet Super Sonic will knock your socks off. Basically, any amp with that real Fender sound will do the trick. Personally, I hate them through Marshalls and Marshall-type amps, although I used to use a Bluesbreaker (which is more a copy of Fender's early design with 6L6's or KT-66's in the power stage).

The Dumble Overdrive Special Amplifier is made by Alexander “Howard” Dumble. These amps are associated with the signature sound of players like Robben Ford and Larry Carlton. These hand-made, high quality amplifiers became popular in the 70’s and early eighties and had built in foot-switchable overdrive. Back in the day, these amps were considered pricey, running around a couple thousand dollars. Today on the market, these amplifiers are highly sought after and collectable. The amps are now worth tens of thousands of dollars, and at times, may go for prices that rival a small condominium in Florida close to the beach.

In the right hands, here is what these amps can sound like:

Various boutique amp manufactures like TwoRock amps and others, have been influenced by the Dumble amps.

Ceria Tone Amplification in Malaysia makes what appear to be high quality "point-to-point" wired reproductions of various historically significant amps including their "Overdrive Series," which are reasonably priced and can be purchaced assembled or in various degrees of pre-assembly.

Very simuilar to my BDRI setup:

V1 = JAN Philips 5751
V2 = JJ 12AX7
V3 = JJ 12AT7
J4/5 = JJ 6L6GC biased at 83 mV at the Fender test point.

Just replaced the stock speaker with a Eminance Cannabis Rex.

Both my Strat and Tele sound great through it.

I love the sound of my Tele through my Classic 30. I'm not actually a fan of Teles through most Fender amps (heresy, I know!).
