Post subject: what is a good action for the tele

i accidently screwed up my action on my telecaster. I wanted to know a good action without a lot of fret buzz, the action should be kinda of medium because i play rythem and lead. so thanks :(

This fender site has a how to setup guide for the tele,thats a good starting point. but you will have to adjust it untill you like the way it feels

I keep mine a 5/64 on bass strings and 4/64 on treble.

+1 I find it is a personal taste thing. Some friends of mine have their action buried down low and for me it doesn't work with my playing style. Go with what is on the Fender website and then adjust to your own taste form there. Good luck!
