I have buzz in my mex tele.
I have upgraded 2 american and 2 mex telecasters. Both american are quiet and both mex buzz unless you touch a grounded part of the guitar.
I installed Seynour-Duncan Vintage stack in the bridge, a hot rail stack in the middle, and mini-humbucker stack in the neck position. I put in 500k pots, 5 way switch, and all wiring. Why the buzz with mex and not american? What is the difference between the mex and american bodies that could cause this?

In my experience any Mex guitars outside the Classic Series have this problem from not being grounded properly.

Your buzz mean a groud connexion is missing.

You forget a groud wire somewhere or a bad ground solder.

It's not because it is a mexicann guit.

Look carefuly your guitar with another

I agree on the broken ground loop, but maybe a bad solder joint too?

I agree on the bad solder joint. I have a modded Nashville Deluxe, Mexican made and it doesn't buzz.

The pups you put in are stacked humbuckers and should have to noise. s stated you have to check your wiring or maybe have a pro take a look.

Any electric guitar, being MIM has nothing to do with that.

Does the buzz subside some when in position 2 ?

>both mex buzz unless you touch a grounded part of the guitar<

That's normal. That means your bridge and strings are grounded and your output jack is wired correctly.
