I tried out an Aerodyne Strat yesterday while guitar hunting, although it was one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen with it's bookmatched natural maple top I wasn't impressed with it's neck or sound,it broke my heart because I wanted it based on it's looks alone. It to was a MIJ but that's all I can tell you.

The stock Aerodyne has a P90 pickup in the neck position and a normal Tele bridge pickup.

Yours looks to be heavily modified.

This is the finest guitar I have ever played. Made in Japan between 2005 and 2009 (I think), they are much in demand by Fender lovers. The bridge pickup is the original tele lead and the neck pickup is a P-90 soapbar that became standard in early Les Pauls.

The action on this guitar plays like my Les Paul Custom. I use half the effort to bend strings than I do on my Strat. The sounds are incredible. This will be a collectors item.

I am a happy man since mine arrived last night.

No idea man, someone will chime in though. Could we get more detailed, larger photos please?

Are you happy with the guitar over-all?

Only Aerodyne I ever played was the Jazz Bass, the bass player in my old band has one and it looks and sounds amazing.

I'll guess LP means Les Paul, C means Chrome, N means Neck position and B means Bridge position. I don't know who makes these pickups.

I googled "SEIQ LP" and found this eBay auction:

http://cgi.ebay.de/Humbucker-in-Gold-_W ... 2003r28209

Maybe someone here reads German and can translate it for us. Here's a picture from the auction:

It's hard to tell from your tiny picture, but it looks like the covers on your pickups are smooth - no screws on top.

Here's a website selling SP-007 pickups that are smooth on top:

See the SP-008 Toaster pickups right next to the 007s?

Here's a thread at another forum where those SP-008s are discussed:

I know those aren't your pickups but we're getting closer.

People are talking about SeiQ, Sei-Q, and STURN pickups in that thread. I didn't find anything on google for STURN but maybe you will if you have a lot of time to search.

Good luck.
