I bought a used one and I do not see a country of origin. Are all of the 52 reissues made in the USA? Thanks.

The bridge plate says, "Fender Pat. Pending 46273". I do not see any other numbers printed anywhere else on the guitar. Thanks.

I got it used with a hard plastic black case that looks like it was designed for a strat. The Seller told me he had the choice of a tweed or plastic case and he went with the plastic. I may be able to post pictures later. It sure looks like a 52 Reissue. It does not have any blemishes and does not appear to have been tampered with. It has the vintage 3 bridge saddles and the pickups appear to have been wired in vintage style from what I can tell from the desciptions I have read. I bought off of Craig's list so I am naturally leary. But I don't think the Seller ripped me off; I went to his place of business for the purchase so I would know where to find him. He said it was about a year old and sold it for $1,000, which I thought was a pretty good deal.

According to the Fender Customer Service representative this model would have been made in 2004. The rep also advised that all of the American Vintage series guitars are made in the USA. I assume the guy I bought the guitar from was a subsequent owner and either he or a prior owner kept the tweed case and goodies. Anyway the guitar is what counts, and its a beauty. I'll try to post pics after my wife falls asleep. (just kidding)
