Post subject: Someone want to explain the "Delta Tone" system?

Since Fender markets this as a major feature of the AS Tele yet tell you nothing about why it makes a difference, anyone here want to do the job of their marketing people and explain what it is? Thanks!

Basically it's a no load tone pot. The pot has a detent position (when wide open, so you know when you are at "no load") at that point, it's like there is NO tone pot in the circuit. It's argumentative but some claim even at 10 a regular tone pot takes some treble (highs) out of your signal.

I have delta- tone in my am strat, don't like it much. tried greasebucket, liked it a little better, love TBX. I put these in all my guitars sooner or later.

I have the Delta Tone on my MIA Telecaster and like the growl when it's opened up!! :) It's wild and can't be held back like a beast!! :lol:
