Most likely a "90s Thinline", which was a bound Thinline with American Series hardware - modern six-saddle bridge, 22 frets, AS neck & tuners.

Something tells me it's not a 1997 model despite the serial number. I'm looking through the 1997 Frontline catalog and can't find a 90's Thinline or any bound Thinlines. There's a 90's Custom and a 90's Deluxe but neither of them are bound and they're both solid body. I'll keep looking.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I do see a 90's thinline in the 99 catalog and it is bound and did come in transparent crimson. I can't seem to find my 1998 Frontline but I'm thinking it must be a 1998 model and the neck (serial number) was a 1997 neck that wasn't used until 1998.

Part numbers:
010-8200 rosewood
010-8202 maple

Don't mind at all!!!!

Flattered they show up on Google and that you decided to use it.

The Crimson Red one is no longer mine. Traded it (and some cash) for a Two Rock Custom head and 1x12 cab. The person I traded with didn't bond with it and has since sold it.

The Fall 1997 Frontline catalog only lists that they are ash bodies and all other accompaniments are the same as the American Standard Tele (of that year).
