I was looking to buy a new tele, however i was looking at 2 guitars and now i have seen 3 that i like.
I have read all the specs but in the uk its hard to find places that stock them so i can have a play.
If you own one of the following can you let me know please to help me make up my mind. It would be greatly appreciated :)

J5 Triple Tele Deluxe

Telecaster FMT HH

Classic Player Tele Thinline Deluxe

Thankyou :D

They're all quite different. It will depend on what you want. Play them all and make up your own mind.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

sadly what you ask is impossible. We can tell you if stuff is reliable, but really anything else is subjective. i could say i love the neck, but nevin could hate it, i could hate the sound of the bridge pickup, nevin or BMW could love it.

yes they are all radically different, they all have humbuckers which are capable to handle distortion or clean and 2 of them are based around the same model, oh and they all have medium jumbo frets and a c shape neck, so all completley different! as i mentioned before i can't play them all which is why i wanted some feedback! Maybe for example what styles you use them for, are they heavy? are they versatile? thanks for the unhelpful help. much appreciated!

Well Mr. Smarty pants, let me tell you how they are all radically different.

-They all have humbuckers, but they are all different types.
-They all have different fretboard radius
-J5 Triple Tele has a American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo
-Classic Player Tele® Thinline Deluxe has 21 frets, the rest have 22
-They are all different fret sizes.
-All three are different body woods, alder, mahogany, ash
-Different nuts, bone, graphite

Nah they are all the same.

Thanks for all your help it was very much appreciated.
Just so you know i like to have different guitars. I liked these 3 and wanted some constructive input as i mentioned before. Not what you gave in your 2 cents.
For a little insight my les paul plays differently to my strat which plays differently to my j5 tele which also plays differently to my jim root tele which is also different to my talman and rg (which are different to each other aswell), but however i like them all for their different qualities.
I was looking at a j5 triple tele deluxe as it has a similar neck but is different to my j5 tele in the ways that it gives me different options to what i have. as is the same with the other guitars i mentioned.
I thought this would have been the best forum for my question but it seems this should be renamed to something else from the all but one comment i got back from bowlfreshener. Bowlfreshener thankyou :)

A bad attitude to take with people trying to find out what exactly you are looking for. No mind readers here. Good luck!! :?

I dont have any bad attitude in regards to this topic as I wanted some help.
I asked for help and pretty much got 'well everyones opinion is different, and they are too different to compare' Along with 'Play them all and find out for yourself' even though i originally stated i can't play them all as in the Uk we aren't fortunate enough to have things like Guitar Centre where they can stock an obscene amount of guitars, and I would have to order all 3 from far accross the country.
So how would you be able to personally see what they are like? Hence asking for other peoples opinions on the guitars if they owned them. To which I didn't really get, but attitude from the get go (as mentioned above).
I wasn't trying to compare them against each other, just to see what they were like as individual guitars, to help me decide.
Forget it. I'll just guess.

You're welcome...

But I would also just like to say the thing is, I don't know how many people have actually had a chance to play, or even see, all 3 in person, so most just chimed in on the 1 or 2 they may have had experience with...so I wouldn't get too upset at people trying to be helpful, even though you feel they may not have been helping you out, at least they were trying...

I understand, but when you ask things on forums, the answers you get sometimes have nothing to do with the question. This forum isn't as bad for that as others, because at least the responses were somewhat related to what you were asking.

I don't know if you are a member, or ever look at, the Harmony Central forums, but if you asked this question over there, it would be more likely to get many responses that have nothing to do with your question. If you ask a question over there about a guitar, you are likely to get responses on how your amp sucks, your influences suck, your pickups suck, and the best answers are the ones from people who state that "they have no experience with the item you are asking, but they use this brand because its the best, and you should use it and think its the best too, otherwise you suck". So at least here you get answers that are somewhat related to your question... :)
