Hi everyone, it's the first time I post here, so probably you already talked about it, but I can't find any answer...
I just bought a used telecaster 62 reissue.. NICE!!
the only thing I want to change is the neck pickup tone, as it's too dark.
The guitar came with an extra condenser ( I hope this is how it's called in english..) .
Where can I find a diagram or a picture of how to update it to "modern" sounding neck pickup?
thanks for your help,
CIAO FROM ROME!

Unfortunately I can't answer your question Jowlone, but there are people here who can. Welcome to the forum, how about a pic of your guitar?

Can you solder? If so, it's easy. If not, consider buying this DVD. It's very good and will teach you everything you need to know about soldering. He even wires a Telecaster in this video.

I linked Seymour Duncan's diagrams because I think they are better than Fender's diagrams.

Click here for SD's standard Tele wiring:

Here is Fender's standard Tele wiring:

If you can't or don't want to solder, take you guitar to a good guitar technician and have him do the work for you.

CIao!

The AV62 comes from factory with the vintage-style pickup selection, that means: pre-set dark neck tone- neck pu(in the middle position)- bridge. Worth modding it! :)

hey wheres the picture??
