well received from everyone. This Sunday I was playing in church. I own a Taylor T5 with 11's and my american deluxe tele with 9's.

i gotta say that i like the easyness of the 9's on my tele but the fullness of the 11's on the taylor, which by the way don't feel so heavy on that guitar for some reason.

I will try 10's and see where that takes me tonally.

Pretty guitar that Taylor T5!

Maybe the 11s feel easier on it because the scale is "Gibson-like"? 24" in contrast to the Tele's 25,5".

I started out using 9's on my tele. I went to 10's and liked the tone more. It seemed fuller to me. Recently I switched it to 11's. I didn't notice a lot of difference on the tone going from the 10's. When I switch again I'll probably go back to 10's as a good compromise. But, like some of the other guys have pointed out, strings are cheap. Try them all and see what you think. That's all part of the fun and the reason they make all the different sizes. Also, different manufactures and different string models all have their own characteristics. Try them all and see what you think. Have some fun experimenting!

The only Telecaster I know of that Fender sells with 10's is the Nashville B-Bender. Everything else is 9's, I think.
