I just wanted to sing the praises of Fender Instruments today.
Here's a picture of my Special Run 60th Anniversary Telecaster and my American Vintage Thin Skin '62 Telecaster Custom along with my Fender Custom Shop Two-tone Amp.

I echo your sentiments Caliman, I've been swooning over a few new Fender purchases this week too. Can't put the feeling into mere words, and as you say... The craftmanship and quality is outstanding, take a bow Fender 8) Nice rig btw, beautiful guitars complemented by an outstanding amp. Enjoy your gear :D

I too feel the same way. It is to the point that I only play Fender guitars and amps! I am patiently waiting for my new Fender Telecoustic guitar to arrive on Friday. It has been on back order and I am so excited for it to get here. Your rig is absolutely gorgeous! As with Snowy's new Tele..I was drooling at his too! Cheers mates,
ABS

That Tele in the natural wood grain finish is beautiful.

The day I received my '62 the Top-Hat switch tip broke.
Fender not only sent me a couple of Top-Hats, they also sent me some of '50s Barrel switch tips. Customer Service the way it should be. How cool is that? I ask you. How cool is that?
Top that Gibson.

That is certainly a beautiful and classy setup.I have yet to find a dud Fender except for some forgetable guitars in the 70s they've been the benchmark against which all others are judged.Gibson would be doing themselves a great favour to take a couple of pages out of Fender's book on quality, pricing and customer relations.

Do you know the name color of the green one? I have a 94 MIA Tele and the color code I have on the hang tag refers to a Sienna Snburst and it definitly is not a burst! This is the closest one I have seen that looks like mine, except I have a maple neck and pearloid pickguard.
