Not sure about the ones w/ the smaller pickguards but the ones on the bottom are the FSR Road Worn Tele Custom & Deluxe. I've looked on-line for more info and they seem to be available in G.B. but not here in the States yet. I'd like to see them available here too!

Those "small pickup" Teles are a model called La Cabronita Especial from the Custom Shop.

Go here to see both one- and two-pickup versions:

Just picked up my 2010 American Special Tele. MF with a $100 discount, $699! For am MIA, not too bad. This baby has the vintage look with the black pick guard, and 3 brass saddle. Comes with Texas Specials, although I just ordered my custom wound set of Rumples. This is one nice Tele, check them out!

:P :P :P 8)

How are the necks on the American Specials? Are they the same as on Highway Ones?...Or do they actually have a poly finish on them? (Fender says they have a poly finish on them but the pics I've seen don't agree...)

Kinda like the Highway One, not like last years high gloss neck. I wasn't too crazy about those. I do admit the Rosewood necks, for me, are nice and smooth. This new Tele does have the jumbo frets, and I'm a blues guys, so for bending this is awesome.

These are also setup with the greasebucket circuit, which I really don't know that much about yet :-) Some folks said to just remove it and set the wiring to a standard Tele, but only time will tell.

We got these guitars in and have some pics for you to check out that aren't from NAMM, and I was super impressed by the Tele Custom Road Worn. It has a smooth neck, with a lighter finish than the older Road Worns, which I think makes it look a little more authentically worn. They even put a rope wound bridge pup in it, and it looks gross, but in a good way. They are an improvement over the older Road Worns, in my opinion, and I love them.

Here's the Customs. We also have the Deluxe's, but no pics on those yet.

As far as the American Specials are concerned, the neck finish is much like the Highway Ones. The frets are similar as well, but the guitar has a different tone and vibe than the Highway Ones. The Teles are really impressive, but I'm more bias towards Tele's anyways. XD

Here's the White Tele Special(Lotsa Big pics on this one)
