I have a Vintage '52.

Would there be anything to gained by swapping the fender vintage pups for Lindy Fralin vintage?

A $200 hole in your wallet

Is that the sound you want? I'd look at the blues pu's if I was paying for Fralins 8)

Agreed with the hole in your wallet. So you want to buy pickups that are a faithful recreation of the vintage pickups that your current pickups are already a faithful recreation of?

I think in the case of many of us the saying is "If you got cash in your wallet and gas in the car, what can you go and buy ?"

I wouldn't do anythin to a 52. I find it hard to mod any top of the line reissue.
