Could be a problem with your jack plate or a bad cable Try a new or different cable.

Welcome to the foum Gyrojean, I'm in no way an expert, sorry I can't help with your problem. There are people here, who will be in a better position than me to advise you. Such as fhopkins (who has just posted) for example  How about some pictures of your new guitar? We love pictures of Telecasters in here, enjoy your stay buddy.

Pickguard could be rubbing on the neck pickup.

are you pressing down on the pickguard really hard when you play? maybe your girlfriend is being real soft on the pickguard and she dosn't hit is as hard or something along those lines.

Both of us where barely tutching the pickguard .
And it would not do anything for her but for me it was squequing very bad .
For the past 2 hrs like i previusly said i cleand the pickguard whith a (Barjan silicone spray ) and it has stopt .
I am thinking that since the material had been coverd with a plastic protector (since it was new) maby that protector had caused static ...?????
I had been puting up with this for 3 weeks now...

Hoping my problem is resolved for good .
I whill keep you guys posted .

When i found this forum today i started by browsing in the forum to see if this mather had ever been mentiond ....
Well now it has ......

as i promis ,
the problem seems to be gone .
Here is a respons i got today from the company.

:P
Hello,
Thanks for writing in. It sounds like there is a static electricity build up in the guitar. You might try running a used dryer sheet from your laundry cycle over the pick guard. That will help to pull out any static electricity that may be built up in the guitar. I hope this will help you out.

Best Regards, Jeff Krause
