It looks like the old Telecaster bass guitar, but I haven't seen one in several years.

The bass is the original post is not a Fender product. The body possibly came from Warmoth (www.warmoth.com) - they sell a "stretched" Telecaster guitar shaped body for bass. A real Fender Telecaster Bass has two cutaways resulting in an upper "horn" like a Precision Bass, a Jazz Bass, or a Stratocaster.

Do some searching for Fender Telecaster Bass on the web and you'll see the obvious differences between those and yours.

There were two versions of the Telecaster Bass - one has a single-coil pickup and one has a humbucker close to the neck, but neither are what you have.
