Post subject: My plan to create the perfect Tele, fair warning...

I can get one at the local pawn shop or flea market, and if it doesn't sound good, I'll just switch necks.
The body, too plain, so I'll contour the upper half and add an F-hole.
The pickups, PAF for the neck and any other suitably hot variety with adjustable pole pieces, absolute control, that's the ticket...
A tremolo.
I won't bother painting it, a Fender can be run over by a tank and you can still bat a softball with it without much of a problem.
Any other deranged, frustrated guitarists out there, make yourself heard.

Yes! I remember those reusable portable holes. Good call. Of course that's how one would do that.... (slapping palm to forehead like the "Oh man I coulda had a V8!" commercial)
