If you have not tried this tele don't wait any longer. I've played guitar proffesionally for 20yrs. and own 7 fender teles but this one is SWEET! If I never moved the selector switch from the bridge PU it would cover everything period. However, the mini HB is a bonus plus. It has perfect jazz/blues tones to die for. Kudo's to the guys and girls who put this special guitar to gather for us. 8)

No arguments here. It is a fine guitar. Many have tried to build these as a DIY project, but these Fenders have a lot of coolness. 8)

I bought a hot rod about 3-4 months ago.

Straight out of the box I was really disappointed, it did sound like I expected, the neck was weigh thick and I'm convinced about the non lacquer finish either. Worst of all was the strings were 'mandolined' if you get me due to the string barrels. Shop should've sorted that out before the gave it me away for sure.

Having lived with it for a while though all the things it's not have faded a bit and what it actually is is coming through.

Very nice, just not 100% convinced I'd have bought if I hadn't ordered it though.

Oh but it still looks the dogs though!

Since I got mine (about 6 months ago) it's become my #1.

I play jazzy blues/bluesy jazz and the guitar is custom made for my tone.
