Jedi,
Right now there is a FSR Tele Natural ash with Vintage Noiseless Pickups that is a pretty sweet guitar. 8)

I just bought this one a couple of weeks ago.
Fell in love with the look of it and loved the way it sounded.
Really nice guitar. Got a nice discount on it too which made the deal even better.

My first Tele....real happy with it too.

PS BTW, it's a Butterscotch Blonde. Not Natural Ash.

Cool! I love the way it looks! My favorite finish. I meant the body is ash rather than alder.

I love the look of this Tele. I asked about it here a couple weeks ago. I'm looking for an inexpensive tele for modern rock tones. I was told that this ash body with those pickups will not do the trick for me.... However I love the finish!! Would a pickup change get me some modern rock tones? Thanks

I wouldn't take other people's word on if it's good for your sound. You need to play one. Are you looking for a Tele with different pickups? You might consider this one and upgrade the pickups.

If you want the butterscotch. get and if it doesn't work switch out the pickups and give me the noiseless pickups :D or sell them on ebay
Haaa.. I guess my only question is....... Are these Ash bodys fit for modern rock tones? I have no problem with switching out the pups. Thanks

My ash tele Rocks just fine 8)

I asked about this tele in a previous thread.

That is why I was confused about the Ash body and Vintage Noiseless pickups....

I have a 3 pickup Tele that I've made. It has a Hot alinco III bridge and Tex-Mex Strat pu's mid and neck. 3-saddle brass bridge and Ash body. I like natural finishes more than most painted. The Ash body is heavier but I think it works well with my combination. I think you'd be happy with Tex-Mex or Texas Specials. The Vintage Noiseless may be a little anemic that is the trade off for less hum. If it were me I'd go for the Std Ash for $499 and look at replacing the pickups. I like the butterscotch finish of the Vintage ash but You'd be paying a 100 bucks for the finish cuz your going to change the pu's. You'll get around $50 selling the std mim's on e-bay and $80 for the noiseless. You might even consider using a RWRP strat mid pu in the neck for a noise canceling effect in the middle switch postion it well need a little routing though as the strat pu is bigger than the Tele neck pu

Thanks for all the info. Much appreciated! I think I'm going for the Butterscotch finish.. I dig that finish and at $599 I think I should grab it while I can. I will see how those Vintage Noiseless sound but I think they will be sold on ebay right away. Thanks again!!
