I saw it, I want it, but there is NO WAY I can justify the purchase :(

Assemble your own! Get a body here, a neck there, buy the pickups and the hardware and electronics online...would cost less than 800,00 US$ in total, I believe.

Sweet looking Tele. Building one is not a bad idea. I'll start parts shopping after the first of the year. 8)

 bad they don't have a drooling emoticon here Csapo, co's that's more like how I look now :)

Great choice of color as well, the fiesta red with binding looks schweet.

As a confirmed Gasaholic(24 guitars)I know where you're coming from but I find that just wanting a guitar is justification enough to get one,for me anyway, much to the chagrin of my wife.

I hear you brother but if I walked in the door with a $5k guitar, my wife just might try to beat me to death with it. The price tag is just too steep. I'll build my own (which is more fun anyway) based on La Cabronita.

Here is a you tube vid. with Mike Eldred showing the single pup one. I think there are more vids of him talking about the 2 pup version if you want to look.

I just found La Cabronita especial CS search and I am drooling. They also make a single pup model. Both are way too expensive even if I had the money. I am not sure I would pay that even for a Brazilian Rosewood Martin. I know I can make one with parts for a little over $1,000 even with it relic'ed. I have been wanting to do a TV Jones Tele for some time. I was also thinking about adding two tone and two volume controls. I might even modify a 72 Thinline, that would be the easiest.
