Hi

had a brief search and couldnt find one of these threads.
I have three Telecaster Plus models, two are the deluxe variant with the nicer finishes, locking tuners, roller nut, tremolo and tremsetter.

1 - Natural Finish Plus, Rosewood board. 1991, 3 peice ash body
2 - Crimson Transparent Plus Deluxe, with opaque edges and metallic flakes in the finish. Maple neck. Im pretty sure this is either a 2 peice body, or 2 peice veneer. 1989 I think.
3 - Three colour sunburst 1990 I think. Think this is a veneer top, unless its a 1 peice body. This I had the tremolo professionally blocked.

Thanks

The stars are just little stickers that I put on the guitar.
Its my main live guitar and the band I am in had a red and black theme going for a while, so I put red stickers on the guitar. Most the top half have rubbed down to silver.

Im planning to remove them all soon.

I had a mid 90's translucent red, maple neck, with 3 single coil lacesensors. It got stolen about 8 years ago and I've been trying to find a good deal on one ever since.

Oh, I have some of those too, but for me, the Mk II is THE most versatile Telecaster ever made. The mini switch gives the ability to not only have stRAT style 5 way pickup selection, but also the traditional neck/bridge Tele swtiching. Best of both worlds.

1996 Tele Plus Mk I (1996 was the changeover year to the Mk II)

And of course the Tele Plus Mk II was phased out in 1998, the model name changing, with some small modifications, to the USA Deluxe Tele...
