Hey Buddy,

Here's a salute to you. I've been reading your posts on this and some of the other boards on how much you love your Super Champ XD.

Well, on a total impulse last week I ordered one - sight and sound unseen, just 'cuz of how much you liked yours. $300 delivered to the door.

I received it from the UPS guy yesterday. WOW!!! What a fun little amp! I took the setting you posted on the amp board and used them as a starting point. Sweet. I've had the Tele's hooked up to it since I unpacked it. I haven't even pulled out the Strat's or one of the others yet.

So anyway - thanks for the posts - I probably wouldn't have given one a second thought w/out your words of praise.

Now I guess I'll have to break down and get a Highway 1 so I can be a member of you and BlackCatBone's Highwayman Club. 8)

Tele's Rule!

And you and go wrong with the HWY 1! We'd be grateful to welcome you into the Highwaymen club as well as any other Highway 1 players! haha

I salute him anyway. The dude rocks and helps make this a great place to visit.

Now get yourself a Telecoustic Deluxe and Acoustasonic 30 and you can salute me too.

I am LOVING playing with that set up. Its changed me for the better as a player. New worlds, new dynamics, new smiles!

Even though tonight I had the worst recording session I have ever been on, my singing was either off...a little flat or a little sharp At least my Tele playing was right on! :D Hmmm...maybe that is a sign stop singing and only play my Tele..

I'd be happy just to be a fly on the wall and pick up as much as I could from you guys. I can't find anyone around here to jam with so just to be in the same room with other guitar players would be nice. I know i'd learn a lot.

BCB,
I don't mean to sound geographically challenged...but...where do you live?

I'm in North Carolina for another month or so then I am headed back to Peru. I was leaving last week but my mom and pops talked me into staying through Christmas.

How about you?

Man at the rate I'm going it'll be March before I get down there because my girl will be coming up here in January to stay with me and the family for 2 weeks. I have a lot of loose ends to tie up before I get back down there. You just tell me when you wanna jam and I am sure we can figure something out. Just remember my ability to jam consists of playing easy beginner songs and like 4 blues licks over and over! haha
