I'd like to get a grab-and-go Tele with a bit more punch than my standard setup Teles. I like Squier's Vintage Modified Series Custom and Custom II setups, but I need some help in making my decision.

What 'bucker p'ups are in the Custom?

How do the p'ups in the Custom compare to those in the Custom II?

Any other info that you could share on these two guitars would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I would think the Pups in the Custom II would be better since they are Duncan Designed P-90's.

After reading many reviews and checking out the reviews on you tube I decided on the Squier Custom II myself. My wife has a blonde one sitting in the other room for my Christmas present. The reviews I read most said the Custom II is way better and the P90s were almost worth the price of the entire guitar.
