OMG I wish I had money right now. I was born 82 and would love a 52 RI from 82. My 72 RI is from 02. All I would need is a 62 from 92 and I would be confusingly up to speed!

Dude it is so amazing, if I had the cash I would be buying it myself. Everyone who plays it used to make offers to buy it but he would never sell it and now he has to. This is the one he "gave" me but then asked back for since he ran into some legal/financial woes so I gave it back and I'm helping him sell off all his guitars and amps. It has some Kinman Broadcasters in it and they are killer.

You're like me, I want a 78 Tele so bad I can't stand it since that was the year I was born. Here are some more pics from when I took it apart and of the fretboard, the thing is super naturally reliced.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think we can all agree you should offer the guy 1000 and get the 52 if possible! 8)

It is for sale here Max,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... _534wt_961

for pics, you can go to www.imageshack.com and upload them from your computer then you need to use the red button above that says Img. In order for your picture to show up you'll want it to look like this

It ended up selling for $1500. I hated to see it go for so cheap but it wasn't my call. If only I could have gotten the money I could have bought it myself for $1100! Super steal for a rare guitar and with Kinmans in it already...Really a sad night!
