So I decided to hold off on spending $900 on the sweet double bound Red 62 RI MIJ.

I worked myself out a deal that I couldn't refuse. I got a 94-95 MIJ fotoflame Telecaster. $500 Buy it Now, but it comes with a new coffin case and I already have a friend who wants to buy the coffin case for $75, leaving me having paid $425. But also another friend wants to buy the electronics since I am going to put different electronics in it. So i could end up getting this Tele for around $375, which I think is a pretty sweet deal...even at $425. Most of these I have watched sold for $500 minimum. Here are the pics from the listing, will post others once I get it in house!

What do you guys think? Check out the Hamburglar!!!

ive been on the hunt for one for a little while now, i just didn't want to pay too much. on ebay and gbase these have been going no lower than $500 and that was with dings. The cheapest I found one was 575 and it has a noticeable ding on it. I may not have even gotten this one had it not been for my friend offering to buy the coffin case and lower my total to $425. I'm cheap sometimes!

I passed up getting this one because I don't need to drop that extra $425 right now.

AND IT JUST CAME! The neck on this thing is sick! Beautiful flametop and the "hamburglar" is there in like 4 places on the back of the neck. Only one tiny ding on the back that can barely be seen. My buddy is coming to get the case for $75 now which means I got it for $425 so I am quite satisfied but the real test comes now when I plug her in!

I'm gonna check it out and play for a bit, but i'll post some pics in a few hours! 8)

pics added

She plays super sweet and has some really nice low action. Neck is nice and smooth and fast. Just gotta get some new strings on her and give her a little TLC! For $425 I think I did pretty good.

The good news is I lucked out and got one with good electronics too. No static in the switch and the pups sound really nice in all 3 positions. Going to put some new strings on her now and jam for a little while with a local luthier I found here. Will keep you guys posted.
