I managed to move it and I am feeling really uneasy. I sold it to an acquintance for just less than a grand. I'm not sure if I did OK or not. I know this though, this fellow got a great Tele - right or wrong price be darned.

Yeah, considering mine was the American Deluxe I was hoping. The thing that hurt my guitar was that it is not a "traditional" 2 Ppickup version. That 3rd pickup, while greatly extending the versatility of the guitar, hurts it in the resale market a bit.

My first Tele was a 3 pickup model and I loved it but you're right when you resell it people are thinking a "Tele should only have 2 pickups". The guy who got it from you got a beat, I can look at it and tell it has some serious twang. One day I am going to have one of those bound telecasters, i really dig the look and sound of them
