I have a 2003 MIA Tele that I am going to mount a Bigsby on, but not sure whether to just screw it onto the body or use a Vibramate mounting plate. Any help from those who have a Bigsby would be appreciated.

Headshot,

I've got the '60s re-issue w/ a Bigsby. I love it! She's not my main Tele, but I thinks she's my prettiest. Kinda heavy w/ the added hardware. I can get some good sounds out of her.

I looked at the Vibramate last month at the Arlington Guitar Show. It's a pretty sweet, simple set-up, and that would be my vote if I were to add a Bigsby to one of my Tele's.

If you email adam@bigsbyguitars.com he can get you all set up and answer all your questions. He's the guy from Bigsby I talked w/ at Arlington. Nice guy to talk with and real helpful. He'll explain everything to you and make it simple.

Let us know what you do.
