Guys,

I have a confession to make. I need your help!

The past few weeks I’ve been in Idaho taking some school. I brought along one of my Tele's and a small amp for the hotel room. We played every night.

I got home yesterday, and after nothing but a Tele for two weeks, I decided I’d take out one of my Strat's for “just a minute”. Well, a minute turned to three, then to five, then to half an hour. I then pulled out another Strat and played her for awhile. Then a third! I was playing Strat’s until 2am!

This morning I picked up my Mustang. Then my Cyclone! I pulled out my Squier 51 and my Squier Venus! I even had my P-Bass out for awhile!

I haven't touched a Tele in two days.

Now I’m exhausted. I feel dirty. Ashamed. Help me. What do I do?!

RickyD

Man, variety is the spice of life, you are lucky you have such a choice, I wish I did.

You're out now but the plank will pull you back in, they always do.

You dirty dirty man...how dare you treat you beloved beautiful Teles like that!!!LOL, As long as you didn't tell those others you loved them...all is forgiven after you say your 5 Hail Marys and 10 Our Fathers..:)...It's ok..I was jamming some kansas on my strat this evening until my little Honey Blonde named dacks gave me a smoldering glance...then I had to put my arms around her and all is right with the world!!! :)

Ricky, I hear ya man. I'm not always completely loyal to my Tele. I love playing my Strats and Musicmaster too. Absence does make the heart grow fonder and a little time away from it will make the next time all the more special.

I find I get on kicks where I'll play just one guitar for days or even a week or two.

One thing I will say though, If I could only keep only one of my guitars, it would be my Tele.

Tell you what, I understand you are going through a very difficult time right now and to make sure to help you through it, please give me your address and I will send you a box and prepaid shipping and you can just send me the Tele and I will take good care of her for you. No more guilt, no more feelings of shame! Your Tele will be waiting on me when I get to my new home and i'll have another Tele to play. Problem solved! 8)

Be glad you have that problem, I am down to only one guitar now, my Tele...I miss my Strat and acoustic guitar too! I'm moving so I need to travel as light as possible and I'll buy a guitar once I get to my destination.

No shame in it. Welcome to the brotherhood of strat-playing mutants.

Its okay, your teles wont hold it against you. My favorite sounding guitar is my Tele, but I play the Strats more because I like the comfort and feel.
