Someone else made a topic about her in the lounge but it took an unexpetged turn, she is killer though, both as a player and visually!

Shes great. I can see a definite SRV influence there.

Bless her heart, that little girl can cook,it's the first time I've heard her,I had goosebumps the whole time,I detect a little Jeff Healey influence.Did I hear a trace of a British accent?

Just wanted to post a quick thanks for calling Joanne to my attention. I might have missed this terrific new talent otherwise. I ended up buying her CD and have been listening to it quite a bit. She has the talent and drive to go very far as a blues artist, I think, and like SRV she has a very accessible, funky style that I think will win her fans beyond blues devotees.

Edit: And to BlackCatBone, yeah, Alicia is amazing. As a 42 year old just beginning his guitar journey, she both inspires me and makes me despair for the lost years of playing.
