hey guys.. i'm a newby so forgive me if this topic has been beat to death. i looked for it but couldnt' find it.
I just bought a nashville tele, 3 pickups and a fishman bridge, the previous owner giged with is and had problems with the battery going down in the middle of a show because he would forget about it.
he said when that happened it would kill the whole guitar. he never used it, so he just removed the switch and by bypassed the problem.

he told me there was a way ( he thinks he read it on here) that you could wire in a toggle switch so that if/when it happens and have no batteries you could flip the switch, bypass it and keep playing. can some one help me with a "how to" on this?
also is there any other mods that someone might suggest ?
thanks

hey bluedirt - welcome to the group! You'll find a good bunch of Tele guys here.

I don't remember seeing much about that mod to the Nashville Power Tele. The Power Tele is kinda a rare bird around here. I do know of the problem of the battery running down. I just keep a spare in the bag for mine and then I have no worries.

You might want to check on the "other" Tele site. TDPRI (just Google it), has got a lot more guys into builds and modifying their Tele's and T-types, and probably somebody there has got an answer for you. Just make sure you come back over here after you're done looking around over there. We're better looking and more fun! Good luck!

Rick
