ok so im looking to get a new guitar and im not sure what to get i wouldnt want to spend more than £450 i really like the lite ash tele i think it looks really kl in vintage white with a black pick guard and maple neck, i was wondering if i could get any other tele's in vintage white and maple neck (i dnt mind if the pickguard is white as i can always change it) but any other suggestion in my price range? i was also looking at strats(look wise i would like a olympic white with rosewood neck) and so im kinda torn between getting either a strat or a tele so any info or suggestions would be helpful.

thx

Buy the one YOU LIKE and play them before you buy.

a lot of it depends on what music you're into. also TRY BOTH and whichever feels and sounds better to you is your guitar

I think the tele's great. I would take it over a strat anyday.(i love 70's strats alot 2 though). The tele is a great all around guitar, the neck pickup is great for jazz, the bridge pu is great 4 country, blues, rock. I would reccomend, the 72 custom tele or the higway one or a vintage 70's custom tele. Also checkout the jazzmaster, its quite similar aside from the body and pu s. Lots of guys who use the tele also use jazzmasters. so Ya. Cheers. :!:

The best advice/suggestion I can give you is go play as many as you can find in your price range and buy the one you like.
