Ok guys, here is the question...your ideal set up for playing a gig. Here is mine..either my Standard Tele or HWY 1 Tele...into my Super Champ XD and if using a pedal my Digitech RP355. I like the smaller amps...must be an age thing..LOL...

Lexi (my 72 RI) through a 60's Blackface Bassman Head and Marshall Vintage Modern Cab with my pedal board (listed below).

Only if I get that Bassman some day, otherwise I use my DeVille live and our rehearsal space has a Twin Reverb thats doin just fine. :twisted: 8)

Thats what I really want, Bassman Head with Marshall for live and an AV 52 RI with a 57 Twin for house and studio. Life would be just lovely, lol.

I hear you my brother. If it weren't for the fact that I love my SCXD so much, I would still go through my M-80 Bass Combo when I play out...but...the SCXD is so sweet...and small and light..LOL...I have to bow down to it! When you come over here you are more than welcome to play through it...very sweet sound for a Tele..:)

That would be so cool. I look forward to my next U.S. adventure!

Currently, with young kids and therefore no band, my setup is this:

Fender Telecaster -> Fender G-DEC amp -> mixing board
Fender bass -> bass preamp -> mixing board
Acoustic guitar -> preamp -> mixing board
Keyboard -> mixing board
Drum maching -> mixing board

Mixing board -> looper pedal

Looper pedal -> 8-track recorder

8-track recorder -> headphones or small Fender bass amp as monitor speaker

It's not as fun as playing with others but is the best I can do until my kids are older and I can get out of the house again on a regular basis.

I'm not a gigging musician, but If I was I would pair my Tele with my Vibro King Custom for large rooms, or my Tweed HRD or SCXD for smaller
rooms.

Me playing a gig would consist of my hound dog and my girlfriend listening to me rock out in our house, so for me it'd be my Hwy 1 after I put in the new Pups, a Pro Jr and my digitech rp90

Mine is my Nashville Deluxe pushing my 65 Reverb, and my German Shepherd, Scout, on vocals. :lol:
