I have been using the Vintage Noiseless for a number of years in all of my Teles. I don't gig I just do recording. I am very curious about the SCNs though and am very curious to see what responses you get from this post as well.

I've tried all sorts of pickups, and have settled on Fender Nocasters for the sound I want. That said, I found OC Duffy (www.ocduffpickups.com) who will make custom pickups for whatever sound you want. He is very knowledgeable and responsive. I've bought several sets from him for Teles and Strats. I even had him make a custom P90 for a project. I've always been happy with the results.

I'd go with the SCNs if those are the only two sets that you are considering.

From everything i've heard read through reviews, the SCN's seem to be preferred over the vintage noiseless. Thats what i'm putting in my modified american deluxe project. i'll keep ya posted on how it sounds.

Hey man I'd say get the vintage noiseless pickups. The sound for the SCNs is just a little too muddy for me.

I put a set of SCN's in my lite ash and a bridge in my esquire. I like them a lot and they have a nice range. I have a set of noiseless vintages in my clapton Strat they work for that guitar. I enjoy SCN's on my Teles as much. Don't forget, you will want to add an S-1 Switch to really make that baby growl.
