Believe it or not, I honestly don't have any, "Mighty" collection. Rather, I'm more than content with my recent and never to be collectible Strats in accordance with what my handle below states.

awh wow thats cool but, when you get comfortable with a guitar there shouldnt be lists of guitars that you want

Martian, I have a reissue '72 Tele Deluxe, and I've also been considering making the switch to 500K pots. I'm not clear on what you wrote above: Do I need to change the capacitors as well, or will the stock caps do with the larger pots? While I'm under the hood, are there any other tweeks I should consider? Thanks for your help! 8)

hey whats the neck like, is it like a traditional tele or thicker neck?

You do NOT have to change the stock caps, they are fine.

The only other tweek would be to change the OEM input jack to a Switchcraft brand one.
