Howdy!
I have a tele that I am trying to get some background on.
I bought it for my daughter about 4 or 5 years ago.
I would like to know if there is a place i can go to to get date from the serial number?
What opinion do you have of Korean made tele compared to others?
She never played this other than sitting in my office one in a while to play it for me.
(She never would get away from Strat)
Anyways, any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to contact Fender consumer relations. They are usually very helpful.
Look under the "support" section of this forum and you will find various methods to contact them.

Thats the recently discontinued MIK Fender Lite Ash Telecaster from the Special Editions series or whatever the series is called.

My friend has one in black (he put a white/black/white plate on, looks great) and it plays beautifully, the Seymour Duncan ALNICO pro II pick-ups are nice too.

Great guitar for the price, my mate got his new for £380.
