I cant tell myself but I am sure someone will be able to. My advice is in the future always ask the good people here first before buying. They have saved me from a big mistake once already when I was about to buy a guitar that wasn't legit.

very true, I know a lot of people refuse to buy a guitar without playing it or seeing it in person first, but for me it is tough to do that because i have only one guitar store close by and they are overpriced for the most part, so I go to Ebay looking for a deal, but not wanting to get swindled.

are you a futebol fan?

agree. I'm in the same situation here. I bought that guitar for 800$ (including postage) otherwise I would had payed about 1800$ in Portugal for a brand new tele... Creepy! Guitars in Portugal are damn expensive.. especially fenders/gibson... In the other hand you can get really cheap ibanez.

I'm 100% football fan: European: I love Benfica!!!! Go Benfica

Looks 100% American Series to me. There is nothing that points to it being a Squier. It's got the correct hardware, string tree, pickguard, sunburst finish colors look correct for an American Series of that era.

Decals are original. When someone sands off decals and applies new ones, they have to refinish that area of the headstock to match the rest of the neck. I see no evidence of that.

Looks like a winner. Good luck!

p.s. Serial number looks legit too.

I'm with him. Nothing that indicates it's a Squier. The Squier Std Sunbursts are black on the edges with a much more red center than the American Std. Pickups, saddles..all looks OK. Boa sorte!

Eu só queria saber o que fez eles acharem que era uma Squier...
