Looking for a nice Tele with humbuckers. I already have a Casino Elitist with P90 single coils so I think a nice humbucking sound would add to my collection short of going to a Les Paul

They just came out with these beauties, the Classic Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe

http://www.fender.com/products//search. ... 0141802306

if i hadnt already picked up a 72 thinline, I would have picked this up. In fact, I'm seriously thinking of trading up. its like they merged a 72 thinline and a deluxe

Mine is a 2006 model. I'm very happy with it. 8)

That is exactly -- exactly -- the guitar I want next. I'm considering trading my Gretsch for one.

I'll take mine with an F hole:

plus I like that it still has the tele headstock. Thats always bugged me about the normal deluxe is that it has a strat head.

Ha! And not just any Strat head--we're talkin' the great big honkin' 70s Strat head.

I can understand why it might not be for everyone. I like it though.

Thanks for the kind words on my guitar, everyone. It is a thing of beauty. 8)

And, Greg, best of luck finding something suitable! :)
