The body seems original.

Neck no. the inlay placement at the 12th fret (edge dots too far apart), the rosewood board with a walnut truss rod plug, the placement of the string tree...any more detailed pictures?

pickguard, body finish and bridge also no match for a 59 Tele.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest posting pics and info up at this Telecaster forum:
http://tdpri.com/forum/
As that forum has some of the most knowledgeable people around when it comes to Telecasters and IDing them...don't get me wrong, people know stuff about Teles here too, but when researching, it never hurts to cross reference and verify findings/results/information...

+1 on the www.tdpri.com.

This is a fun board but it's still new and growing. The TDPRI has been around for a long time and is chock-full of Telecaster experts - less so in recent years but still a very helpful place.

ok,i am a bass player and got this in lue of debt 30 years ago and at that it was only 20 years old then never touched anything on it since then, have put many photos up on photobucket (kammo-kid) but cant get my head around how to upload direct to forum so when i first posted russianracehorses was kind enough to do that himself and i thank him and most welcome to anybody who wishes to upload them for me'computers not my thing' all guitarists who played 'pinky' fell in love with her,now one guitarist from 20years back wants and has offered about $3250 but am just not sure as many other guitarists that have tried to find out about her and all the spec on her are puzzled buts lets say i am a worker in the factory and i can get anything going from paint shop to hardware, then is this possable to make this in1959/60 in the factory as the guy would possably just be taking it home when he put the thing together, was it johnny cash who got a cadillac out in bits'? if you work in a shop im sure you know what you can come home with and maybe thats why no number and unsual features
i await the world of all you guys and gals, suprise me with knowledge,$3.25k,im i silly?

Asking on TDPRI is definitely a good idea. I'm not an expert on old necks, but understand that Tadeo Gomez - a major contributor to Fender's success in the 1950s - typically initialled any necks that he finished shaping with either "TG" or "TAD" - so the apparent "Tadeo" on your neck is unusual. I don't know if that means it's more valuable, or fraudulent, just that it may be worth checking further.
Unless you get lucky from someone's information on TDPRI, it might be worth having the guitar appraised by a reputable and Tele-knowledgable appraiser. I expect someone on TDPRI could suggest a name or two, depending upon your location.
If the guitar is faked, then your current offer may be unfairly high. On the other hand, if this is a guitar that Tadeo Gomez assembled for himself, the guitar may be worth substantially more. Good luck.

Several Fender-related books mention Tadeo Gomez and his roles at Fender. The one I've seen most recently is Tom Wheeler's "The Soul of Tone." He apparently did about everything from production work to collaborating on amp and guitar designs.
It'd be nice if someone at Fender would take a look at your photos as well; they might be able to offer some suggestions.

Interesting! Problem is that things like this article say Tadeo Gomez stoped working for fender in 1957 and the date on that guitar in pic says 1959 and it appears he used TG or TAD in signing. I would suggest getting it looked at in person.

for easier viewing (from the Provide website):

"Tadeo worked at Fender from the late 1940s to about 1957. Apparently he had some falling out with Fender management, so Tadeo quit Fender to work at Disneyland California as a construction employee. This lasted until the mid-1960s, when Tadeo went back to Fender (now owned by CBS as of January 1965) as a maintainence man!"

Poor Tadeo.. : /

good call on the signature...he usually signed "TG".

Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but seems there's some clear on that neck pocket, like if they sprayed some clear finish on it first, then the color coat, what wouldnt be a 1959 feature (I believe). That body is really accurate tho shape-wise - the cutaway bumps and the neck pocket lip are just like them authentic vintage ones... the finish also looks old, but maybe not old enough to be 50 or 40+ years old...

What the TDPRI guys said?

more things:
neck definitely not 59, it was refretted, the finish and the decal look like brand new, a walnut stripe on the back, and also some white thingy around it like some sort of binding? Control plate and knobs also doesn´t look 59. Seems also that the string ferrules are stickying out of the body? Not flush like they are supposed to be, in this case. Would be cool to see more pictures, like the control cavity and under the pickups...
