I'm looking at a lite ash Tele on ebay but a few things don't look right. Besides the stock pic's from GC or MF The finish looks thick and the serial number does not look right. but I'm not up on korea Fenders ( I thought only squires were Korean) The heel of the neck looks off to me too something with the sharper angles What do you guys think

hey there!i have the lite ash strat and the finish is quite simular...so don't get THAT suspicious with this guitar...also check out his feedback...he has had about 600 sales and 100% positive feedback...the only thing is that he took off the black scratchplate, and replaced it with an awful one in my opinion and he has replaced the seymour duncan pickups with noiseless emgs....if you ask me,it's a bargain...

It looks legit to me and I'll bet it goes over $500 by the time it ends, with the mods.

CN means made in Korea. MZ is made in Mexico. MIJ is made in Japan. I was hoping serial numbers starting with CN meant made in Canada but nope it's Korea. Does Fender make any guitars up north in Canada yet? Maybe they should consider it. :D Maple trees are abundant in Canada and Fender uses maple for the necks.
