Welcome to the forum!

Where on the guitar are you seeing those numbers?

Those must be patent numbers Mike.

If you can post the serial numbers or a picture of your guitar I'm sure someone can help you. :)

You need to post a picture for us. Close ups of the headstock(front and back) and the body the same way. :)

No problem my friend. Without a serial number or good pictures we would just be guessing.

Yep, good, clear pictures will usually do the trick.

www.photobucket.com is a free place to upload them.

You can then post them here or link to them.

misus,

Looks like a Fender made in Japan . Close to 1985 ???

But I'm not expert of those made in Japan. With many mod : pickups , saddles

Sure is not an American Telecaster

American made tele don't have the black plastic under the neck / body plate.

I have a friend who have a japan made fender with serial num under the peg head which clearly mean is japan made fender around '85
His guitar have the black plastic too

That what I know about japan made Fender
